Welcome to the Clinical Research Center (CRC)
All clinical trials at The Clinical Research Center, Cairo University, are conducted according to Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines developed by the International Conference on Harmonization (ICH) and the principles contained in the World Medical Association Declaration of Helsinki on the ”Ethical Principles for Medical Research Involving Human Subjects”(2004).
Research Ethics Committee of Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University, has to approve all clinical researches carried out in the faculty prior to its conduction.

The Clinical Research Center (CRC) is a service unit in Kasr Al Ainy Medical school, located in the Medical Pharmacology department. Mission The CRC's primary mission is to provide research investigators with an environment that is conductive to the advancement of scientific knowledge within the biomedical field. It also facilitates the transfer of technology into clinical practice as well as participates in training new research investigators and evaluating new technology. We welcome the opportunity to work in partnership with investigators to implement and complete clinical research protocols.
